Dear Friend,
I feel really privileged to welcome you to this part of our website, dedicated to our first Annual Believers’ Convention 2010. It is my vision that this annual Conventions will over the years to come, become the highlight of the year for us, a special time of empowerment, blessings and healing.
The theme for this year’s Convention is “The Power and the Glory” and the Word of God that has inspired me are I Chronicles 29: 11 “Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power and the glory…” and Psalms 63: 1 & 2 “1O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.”
Many believers, like the rest of our neighbours, are currently going through a period of lack and discouragement. Many are beginning to lose faith in God as natural disasters and a time of ‘credit crunch’ sweep around the world. I believe it is time to remind ourselves that despite all the circumstances of our daily living and current world conditions, as a child of God, we can position ourselves to see (and experience) ‘the power and glory of God’ in our lives. We also have the blessed hope that Jesus will soon appear in ‘power and great glory’ to redeem those who are faithful to the end. Hallelujah!
Our Speakers this year are drawn from different gospel backgrounds and I believe they have been anointed to bring you a Word in season that will renew and strengthen your faith in God. Through their ministrations, you will receive a release of ‘the power and the glory’ of God that will transform your lives. So, come with an open and expectant heart.
During this year’s Convention, you will have the opportunity to fellowship with Christians from all over the world. This gathering may not be the largest you’ve witnessed but I can assure you that the power of God will be awesome.
